"The Children's Hospital at Providence offers state-of-the-art inpatient care as well as subspecialty clinics with services including rheumatology, metabolic disorder, feeding issues, kidney disorders and urology. These subspecialty clinics work cooperatively with Seattle Children's Hospital to bring other specialty physicians to Alaska on a regular basis. The pediatric center, subspecialty clinic, NICU, and maternity center provide state of the art medical treatment for young Alaskans. In an effort to reduce stress to the infant, child, and family, The Children's Hospital at Providence practices the philosophy and principles of family-centered care. "
